Brynn did a report on her for school. She got an A! Way to go Brynn

Hailey attempted to set the world record at hula hooping. She stopped about 15 minutes before the record because she said her hips were going numb. Silly girl! (she's eating dinner in this picture)

Brynn got this cool new light/mirror. She was doing her makeup and I had to grab my camera and get a picture. Love this girl!

I came home from school one day for lunch and My baby was asleep on the couch. I really enjoy when he is asleep!

where have I been?

I feel like I haven't been blogging as much as I would like to. It's because I started COSMETOLOGY SCHOOL! Yup! I'm going back to school. I have NO life anymore because school is Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Its a lot of fun but also lots of book work. WHO KNEW?! I can say I've learned to wrap a perm in 44 minutes! I can also do an awesome mowhawk!

Soccer kids

Hailey has been playing Soccer now for 4 and 1/2 years. She has really gotten good at it.

She is now playing with an all girls team. They are called the Red Hots! Last season they took 3rd overall and the season before that they were the champs. We'll have to see about this year. I think we will see another championship!

Hailey is the teams Keeper. She does a great job at it and really likes it. She is one of the smaller girls on the team but that doesn't stop her! She will attack you if you are coming her way with that ball. She will NOT let you score on her! She says "bring it on"

Carter started soccer in September. A lady in our ward put together a little soccer team

with a bunch of kids from our ward. I thought Carter would do really well and just

love this! I THOUGHT WRONG! He isn't really into it all that much. If someone

steels the ball he cries! If someone blocks the ball he cries! If he falls down he cries!

I do have to say he is getting a little better! The last game he did play for a bout 5 minutes!

The little team goes until December so I'll keep you updated on how he does at the end.

Maybe he will improve! Lets hope!

First Day

Today was the first day of school! Also the last year for Hailey in elementary school. I can't believe she goes to middle school next year! WOW! Thats kinda scary. Here she is with Mr. Edwards her 5th grade teacher.

Brynn is in 3rd grade this year. My kids are growing up! This year she is in Mrs. Cushman's class. She is so excited to be in a new class and make new friends.

Good luck this year little ladies. You will do great! I love you so much!

Back to school 2011

Took the girls and their friends out for a fun back to school shoot! It was so much fun except that we were all melting! I think we will do this every year! I can't believe that I have a 5th grader this year! That means next year she starts middle school! WOW!

birthday #3

May 23, 2011 Carter turned the big 3! Carter LOVES all things Spiderman. Even when he gets his pictures taken he is all about spiderman. Thats why he's shooting his web in the picture.

Carter you are awesome! You are SO much fun to have around. Your sisters Love you as well.

A decade

Happy 10th birthday to my beautiful hailey! She turned 10 June 5, 2011. I still can't believe she is that old. She is such a joy in our family. She is also very smart. She is also the the student body secretary at school. Whatever Hailey sets her mind to she does.

She is a very talented young lady.

The best sister/aunt ever

My sister ashley is the best ever! Look what a great aunt she is! My kids just love her!

She wrestles them on the trampoline, plays games with them (she won't even let them win)

She even reads them stories. Ashley is so much fun! We love you ash.

The attempt

So for Brynn's Baptism we got all the cousins together REALLY fast one morning before littleEmmy had to leave back to Salt Lake. We took probably 50 pictures. These are the best! My favorite is the last one of them all laughing. Want to know why they were all laughing (with the exception of little Mia who was sick so she can cry if she wants too) Well...Their aunt Ashley tried to get them to all look at me and make them smile...so she found one of Noah's pirate daggers and decided to stab herself with it! GREAT IDEA RIGHT!!! well the boys thought it was hilarious and started acting pretty funny. That made Hailey and Brynn laugh and for Emmy..she's use to her mom being silly. And again. poor Mia was sick!

But I love pictures like this. Probably because this is how they always are!

Favorite time of year!

I know I always say I love when the trees bloom..blah blah blah...well guess what? I LOVE WHEN THE TREES BLOOM! there yup! i said it! favorite time! i love the picture of hailey on her little beach cruiser riding with the blossoms on each side of her. these blossom pictures were just a quick snap! just so pretty!

WPPI mustache

I had the chance to attend WPPI! It was SO much fun! I brought this fun little mustache home for the kids. They thought it was the COOLEST ever.

such a blessing in our home. You are so full of love and laughter. You are a wonderful daughter, sister (big and little) and a wonderful friend. I'm so proud of you for choosing to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I'm so proud that I get to be your mom. I hope you understand this very important decision you have made. Brynn you are such a joy. Keep being who you are and you will go far in this lifetime.

Right now you are in 2nd grade and loving it. You have many nicknames such as Brynnie, birdie, bb, brynnstorm and ninja. Yes I said NINJA! You love to wrestle and be silly!

Excellent stolen words!

so, at the risk of publicly declaring to one of my friends that i'm a facebook stalker, i have stolen something from her because it was just too fabulously hilarious NOT to share! but, as you read through these, please remind yourself they're not my words. they're someone else's. i don't want to take credit, although i can relate to thinking every single one! Thanks Deeanna for steeling it from someone else and letting me steel it from you!


1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.

2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.
3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.

5. How the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

6. Was learning cursive really necessary?

7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on # 5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.

8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.

9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.

10. Bad decisions make good stories.

11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.

12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again

13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page technical report that I swear I did not make any changes to.

14. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.

15. I think the freezer deserves a light as well.

16. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lite than Kay.

17. I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option.

18. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.

19. How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said?

20. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters!

21. Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever.

22. Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.

23. Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I'd bet everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time.

Laguna Beach

While in California with Tim and Ash, Adam and Carrie came down for a night

and we all went to the beach saturday and hat a hot dog roast on the beach.

It was a lot of fun.
