Pears and Cirque du Soleil

This is a picture of my first attempt at canning!

My friends Amy, Kristi and I all went down and

picked pears from an orchard. Then Amy

showed us how to can them.

My mom should be very proud of me.

So on Monday our good friend Matt gave us 2
tickets to go and see KA at the MGM. Theo took
Brynn Because Hailey and I have already seen it.
She loved the show and even got to go back stage.

The Prophet

Gordon B. Hinckley our beloved prophet passed this evening.Below is a portion of an interview with Larry King.

KING: What happens when you die?

HINCKLEY: When you die? Well, I'm not fully conversant with that. I haven't passed through that yet.

KING: Well, call me. Knowing you, I'll be there and I'll call you.
(LAUGHTER)

KING: But you do believe that something happens.

HINCKLEY: Oh, of course we do. But we believe that death is a part of an eternal journey, that we lived as spirit children of our father before we came into this life.That we're here in mortality as a part of an eternal living, and that we will go on living after this life, purposefully. And that through the redemption of the Lord Jesus Christ, men will be resurrected. There will come a time of resurrection.And those who walk in obedience may go on to exaltation.

What an example he was in showing us to walk in obedience. Now he will be with his sweet wife.We will all miss his quick wit and humor.

Hailey played football today with the neighbors, she scored a touchdown!

Monte Carlo on fire

So today Theo's work started on fire....
he gets to have the night off!
I'm just thankful that he wasn't there when
it started and that nobody was hurt.

So today Theo and I pulled off a great Surprise Party for Brynn. She had NO idea! It was so fun to see her face when she saw everyone waiting at Chuck E. Cheese.

Sunday School Teachers

Today Theo and I were called to be the 12 &13 year old suday school teachers. It was our first day teaching and it was pretty fun. We only have 4 kids. They are so smart and are so willing to learn. I really think the reason we were assigned this calling is to help us! I know I am going to learn a lot from these kids. I am really excited to teach next week and get to know the 4 kids a lot better.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRYNNIE!!!

WOW! It sure has gone fast. I can not believe my baby is 5 and will be in Kindergarten starting this next year. It made me really realize how time really does fly! It also made me want to spend so much more time reading stories, playing dolls, doing puzzles and making sure I teach them everything that is really important.

ok so I just read that and it sounds cheesy and kind of like i'm about die. :)

We celebrated Brynn's Birthday today! Grandma took her shopping and got her some new clothes. (brynn loves clothes)

Also today (I have to write this down) we were driving in the car to go pick Hailey up and I didn't put my seat belt on. Well in our car if our belt isn't on there is a little red blinking light that tells you to put it on. She saw our security guards drivng by and said "QUICK MOM put your seat belt on the wack a nut guy is going to get you!!" For those of you who don't know who wack a nut would be it is our security guards who drive by. But their real name is Wackenhut! It was so cute.

Brynn got a little Diamond star necklace from Mom, Dad and Hailey. She also got this really big balloon that sings when you tap it! Brynn wanted a valentine kind of cake this year so we are making a heart shaped one.

What a Stud!

Look at my handome nephew! He is the middle school
Homecoming King! Matthew just found out that he was
nominated Homecoming King this week, and he
was "crowned" at the basketball game tonight.

Dumb Ultrasound Lady!

Today the entire family went to the
doctor to find out for sure if we were
really having a brother. Well the answer
is YES!
I would post a picture but the lady
who did the ultrasound was either having
a bad day or hates her job. She was
so mean. She did print me out pictures
but they are of his bladder and the Right and
Left Ventricals of his heart! HELLO!!!
like I care. I do actually care how those
things are but she could of printed out
a picture of his face or something that I
could tell what it was just by looking at it.
so for all of you who were doubting it was
a boy (mom) here you go!

The Spirit

Today in Relief Society we were asked
to listen a little more carefully to the
spirit. We were all challenged that the
next time we feel like we should
call someone or go visit someone that
we DO IT! I know many times I start
thinking that I should call a old friend and
I say oh I'll do it tomorrow. Well I
challenge all of you who read this
to call that old friend. As one of my
friends said It just might make their
day.

Brynn's Birthday??

I can't think of what to do for Brynn's Birthday.
She will be turning the big 5. Theo says just
go to Chuck E. Cheese, but she went there for her
3rd birthday. I would like to do something
creative and fun.
If anyone has any ideas (or would like to throw
her party for her) PLEASE comment!! (even
if I don't know who you are)



HOPING IT'S STILL A BOY!

Tomorrow we will find out for sure
if we are having a boy. The first time
I was only 13 weeks when the ultrasound
lady said that it looked like a little boy.
PLEASE OH PLEASE be a boy
(for theo's sake)

Sleeping Beauty

The girls have been doing really well on their
cleaning chart so today we went to Target
and they got to pick out 2 things from the
dollar section. Hailey Picked out this
sleeping mask. HOW CUTE HUH!
